Our story began with the common frustrations many business travelers face when managing their business travel expenses. Zeitcard’s founder, while working as an Account Executive, encountered these issues firsthand.

During frequent business trips to countries like Germany and the Netherlands, he often had to pay over $2,000 in business travel costs upfront, covering flights, accommodation, and more. The outdated expense management systems used by his company caused long delays for reimbursement. Even worse, when the reimbursement finally came, it was taxed as income, leading to financial losses.

The time-consuming process of tracking receipts, performing manual calculations, and waiting for delayed reimbursements revealed the need for a more efficient solution. After thorough planning and development, Zeitcard was born.

The name "Zeitcard," derived from the German word for "Timecard," represents our mission to save time and simplify corporate expense management. Our virtual card helps businesses eliminate delays and reduce paperwork in expense reporting.
